Sometimes the fear of writing can freeze my process.  I may struggle with what direction to go in, or whether my story is what I should be writing. Meredith helped me trust myself again. I am more confident that whatever direction I choose will be the right one for me.

When one of my books hadn't sold as well as I'd hoped, I moped around feeling like a failure. I wanted to write, but I would stare at my computer then go to Facebook. I told people I was depressed or burned out. During our call Meredith seemed to read my mind and also my soul. She asked me a few questions that pierced my very being. After the call, I cried, I drank a glass of water, then slept the sleep of the dead. The next morning, I went to my keyboard, and I started writing again.

We should all be so lucky to have a nurturing, inspiring and encouraging confidante in our lives as Meredith has been for me. To have the ability to patiently and gently help others through their process of exploring themselves and finding the willingness to write from their most honest and often fragile place is a gift trusted to few in anyone’s lifetime. Meredith has this gift.
